Aubrey Austin, CRNP
Owner, homeRN Nashville
Aubrey, a Nashville native, earned her Bachelor’s Degree from The University of Tennessee and her Master’s in Nursing from Vanderbilt University. She’s been a dedicated Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner at Vanderbilt and, for the past six years, has loved mentoring nursing students as a preceptor. Guiding new nurses and sharing her passion for patient care has been one of the most rewarding parts of her career.
Aubrey is thrilled to bring her experience to homeRN, where she can help families feel fully supported as they care for loved ones in the comfort of their homes. She knows how much of a difference personalized care can make, not only for clients but also for their families who are on this journey with them.
When she’s not working, Aubrey loves exploring Nashville’s restaurant scene, traveling, and spending time outdoors. She’s especially happy when she’s with her family, friends, or her dachshund, Chili. Joining homeRN is a way for Aubrey to make a meaningful impact in the community she’s proud to call home. Aubrey is excited to offer Nashville families the peace of mind that comes from having a dedicated nurse by their side.

Catherine Conner, RN
Registered Nurse
Catherine is originally from Birmingham, AL, and attended the University of Alabama, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. While pursuing this degree, she originally joined homeRN Birmingham as a caregiver to improve her skills and learn more about impactful patient care. Upon graduating, Catherine moved to Nashville, TN, to work for Vanderbilt University Medical Center on the Hematology and Oncology floor, where she became chemo-certified. Catherine’s love for providing meaningful patient care led her to return to homeRN in a new role as they expand to Nashville. Catherine looks forward to helping provide comprehensive medical treatment that can bring patients and their families confidence in their health and well-being.
Outside of nursing, Catherine enjoys yoga, crafting, and running. As the middle of two sisters, she loves to spend time with family and takes any opportunity to go snow skiing. Her passion for nursing comes from her deep understanding of the emotional burdens health challenges can bring. With homeRN, she looks forward to supporting patients and their loved ones daily as they navigate these burdens and reach their full potential.
Anne Carter Ott, RN
Registered Nurse
Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, Anne Carter is a Registered Nurse with a
background in pediatric critical care. She originally earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Ole Miss. During the pandemic, she spent a year in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, working as a nanny and embracing her love of the outdoors and the mountains. She then went on to receive her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. In 2022, Anne Carter moved to Nashville and began her nursing career in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, where she spent three years caring for complex, critically ill patients and their families. It was in the PICU that she developed a deep passion for family-centered care and advocating for those who may not be able to advocate for themselves. She believes that caring for patients is multi-faceted, involving not only clinical expertise but also emotional support, education, and advocacy.
She’s excited to bring this passion to her new role at homeRN and continue serving the Nashville community. Outside of nursing, Anne Carter enjoys Pilates, spending time with friends—especially at concerts and new Nashville restaurants—cooking with her husband, Ford, and going on walks with their black lab, Judge.
