HomeRN, a Mountain Brook private-pay concierge caregiving service now has a new offering for clients. The company now offers in-home urgent care visits, including overall assessments, testing, diagnosis and treatment provided by a nurse or nurse practitioner. The process starts with a phone consultation with a NP. Testing, diagnosing, treating and prescribing medication is then facilitated in the patient's home. HomeRN treats strep, flu, Covid-19, the common cold, sinus infections, urinary tract infections, shingles and stomach bugs.

A concierge caregiving/nursing service, homeRN was established in Birmingham in 2020 by the owner and founder, Eliza Maxwell and expanded services to Tuscaloosa in 2021 and has been franchised to Tuscaloosa native, Bailey Walker Ray in the Spring of 2023.
